What is a patch panel?
A patch panel is a passive device, typically flat plate holding feed through connectors, to allow circuit arrangements and rearrangements by simply plugging and unplugging patch cables.

standard, high frequency and isolated high frequency. OVM manufactures panels in many

1 GHz panels - Generally used for Cable or Antenna feeds - Return Loss -20dB min. 2.5 GHz panels - Generally used for Digital Cable/Satellite feeds - Return Loss -24dB min. 3 GHz panels - Generally used for Digital Cable/Satellite and High Speed Data Feeds - Return Loss -30dB min. |
Isolated Panels - The all around best choice as special washers isolate each connector from all other connectors and the panel itself, this eliminates any ground loop concerns. Black is the default washer color - other colors are available by special request.
